🚩🚩Is he trying to sell something? 🤔 🤔

I’d be asking the same thing. Rest assured, no sales pitch here. I just want to be a helpful resource for the people I care about.

Who am I and Why?

I am Rudhan (/rudʱʌn/). Let’s try it as: “Rude” + “Hun,” but keep the ‘d’ soft and breathy. Back in college, a wonderful American coworker gave a local flair to my name calling me Rudy, and honestly? It stuck. I’ve grown to love it, even if I still secretly blame the English language for its tragic lack of an aspirated “d” sound.

I spent my childhood in Kathmandu, Nepal, before moving to the US for my studies. Though I started as a Biology student, a chance meeting with a program director steered my boat towards Speech-Language Pathology. Now, I’m navigating these unexplored waters with a simple vision: to be the person I needed back then for someone else.

I am ASHA-certified Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP) and licensed in the state of California. My clinical journey has taken me through private clinics, skilled nursing facilities (SNFs) and school settings. This has given me a deep appreciation for communication at every stage of life. My practice is built on Evidence-Based Practice (EBP), merging the latest clinical research with my professional judgment and the unique needs of my clients. As a multilingual clinician, I value on providing culturally responsive services focusing on human connection. I see communication not just as talking, it is about the deep connection that happens when a person is finally heard.

When I’m not working, I’m probably playing tennis, running, or practicing guitar. I’ve also been getting into chess lately. At home, I’m usually cooking or tending to my plants. Also, I’ve slowly turned into a San Jose Earthquakes fan. It took about a year and a half, but I’m finally all in.
